Barbara Reid Findeisen, BA, MA, PhD honorarium
Barbara Reid Findeisen has been a practicing psychotherapist for nearly four decades. A graduate of Stanford University, Barbara is a pioneer in understanding how very early experiences influence later development and behavior both negatively and positively. In 1986 she founded Pocket Ranch, as a transformational residential treatment center for individuals in search of sanctuary and support, Sonoma County, California.
She was a founding member and Vice President of the Association for Regression Research and Therapy, President of the Association for Pre and Perinatal Psychology and Health (APPPAH), President and Founder of the Star Foundation and Director of the STAR Process.
Barbara has presented at numerous national and international conferences. She has also been a guest on radio and TV shows including the Oprah Winfrey program, and has co-produced a video, The Psychology of Birth. Over the years, she has explored various therapeutic modalities. From her early insight into prenatal psychology, to recent advances in attachment theory and neuroscience, she has continued to evolve and expand her awareness and consciousness. Her goal has always been to find ways to best serve the healing potential she believes is within each one of us.
